CEMPAKA LODGE
- Hidden by trees off a narrow mountain trail, the Cempaka Lodge, our “Tarzan & Jane” one-room, jungle hut perched on stilts offers more seclusion. Its footprint is 4.5 by 5 meters. It is also crafted of wood, bamboo and stone. (By the way, cempaka flowers are from the same family as magnolias).
- The large spring bed with oversized pillows can also serve as a couch by day.
- A long veranda in front offers elevated views of the jungle and valley below. By night enjoy a fantastic show of Bogor’s city lights.
- As in many farm houses in rural Asia, the common area is located outdoors under the structure with a wooden platform for seating. Additional bedding here can accommodate up to 4 more persons.
- The enclosed bathroom with Indonesian-style toilet is also downstairs.
- With its hidden location, this house is perfect for guests who wish to carry out a silent retreat or vision quest.

- Cempaka Lodge rents for IDR 400,000 on Saturday nights. Discounts are available for other nights or longer stays.
